Omar Jaffrey is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Melody. He is also a member of Melody’s Investment Committee. Over his 26 year career, Mr. Jaffrey has been involved in M&A, strategic partnerships, public and private debt and equity, and restructuring and bankruptcies. Prior to founding Melody, Mr. Jaffrey held the titles of Vice Chairman and Senior Advisor for TAP Advisors, where he served as a consultant. Prior to joining TAP, Mr. Jaffrey was a Managing Director of UBS Investment Bank, most recently serving as Americas Co-head of the Special Situations Group. Mr. Jaffrey also helped build UBS’s Telecom Media and Technology Investment Banking and was Global Head of Satellite Investment Banking and specialized in convergence of TMT. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Jaffrey was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch where he built the Global Satellite Investment Banking practice. In the early 90s, Mr. Jaffrey helped build Bear Stearns’ Investment Bank in Asia. Mr. Jaffrey holds a BS magna cum laude in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University and an MBA from Stanford University.

Andres Scaminaci is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Melody. He is also a member of Melody’s Investment Committee. Mr. Scaminaci has over 20 years experience in structured finance, credit trading, and law. Prior to founding Melody, Mr. Scaminaci was a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, most recently serving as Americas Co-head of the Special Situations Group and head of the New York office. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Scaminaci was Head of Illiquid Credit Structuring for Latin America at Merrill Lynch. He also served on the Emerging Markets Structured Credit Team at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Scaminaci began his career as an attorney. He was worked for Akin Gump, Thelen Reid, and Bazan Cambre & Orts with a focus on corporate and project finance. Mr. Scaminaci was licensed to practice law in both New York and Argentina. Mr. Scaminaci holds a law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Masters in Laws from Southern Methodist University.

Mr. Tanjeloff is a Managing Director and Head of Real Estate at Melody. He is also a member of Melody’s Investment Committee. Mr. Tanjeloff has over 20 years of experience in real estate finance and investing. Prior to joining Melody, Mr. Tanjeloff was at CBRE, Inc., a global fortune 500 real estate firm, where he co-founded and was Senior Managing Director of CBRE Capital Advisors, the real estate finance and advisory division of CBRE. Mr. Tanjeloff was responsible for leading the origination, structuring and execution of capital markets and M&A transactions in the Americas, co-managed a team of 8 professionals in New York, and was a member of the firm’s Global Hotel Advisory Board. Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Tanjeloff was at JPMorgan in the Real Estate and Lodging Investments Banking division, most recently serving as Executive Director. Mr. Tanjeloff led the execution of some of the largest and most significant transactions in the real estate sector totaling over $100 billion in deal volume, and had responsibilities including direct lending, mergers & acquisitions, and debt and equity capital markets. Mr. Tanjeloff currently serves as an Independent Director on the Board of Affinity Gaming, a leading regional gaming company with over $400 million of revenues. He also serves as the Chairman of the Audit committee and Governance Committee of the Board. Mr. Tanjeloff holds a BS in Consumer Economics from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Halle Benett is a Managing Director and Head of Financials at Melody. Mr. Benett has over 25 years of experience working with financial services companies ranging from banks, insurance companies, asset managers, financial technology companies and diversified financial services providers. During his career as an investment banker he has led and closed over 100 transactions. Prior to joining Melody, Mr. Benett was Head of Diversified Financial Services Investment Banking for KBW/Stifel. During 2013, Mr. Benett was a Senior Advisor to Ares Management, a leading global alternative investment management firm.  Prior to joining Ares, Mr. Benett was at UBS Investment Bank, most recently serving as Head of Financial Institutions Investment Banking in the Americas. Mr. Benett also served as the Global Head of Diversified Financial Services Investment Banking. He managed a team of over 90 bankers and was a member of the US Investment Banking Committee. Mr. Benett currently serves on the Board as an independent director of Banc of California, a publicly listed US banking institution. He also serves on the audit committee. Mr. Benett holds a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University and BA in Political Science and History from Rutgers University.

Carras Holmstead is a Managing Director and Head of Secondary Opportunities at Melody. Mr. Holmstead has over 10 years of experience in credit, distressed, and special situations investing. Prior to joining Melody, Mr. Holmstead lead Stone Lion’s investments in TMT and Retail industries focusing on distressed and special situations investing. Prior to Stone Lion, Mr. Holmstead worked at UBS Investment Bank, focusing on distressed TMT investments. Mr. Holmstead worked on both in-court and out of court restructurings as well as new loan and bond originations working closely with the Special Situations Group run by Omar Jaffrey and Andres Scaminaci. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Holmstead worked at Matlin Patterson Asset Management, focusing on distress for control investing across Media, Retail and Energy industries. Mr. Holmstead holds a BA cum laude from Brigham Young University and an MBA from Stanford Business School.

Jon Cole is a Managing Director and Head of Legal at Melody. Mr. Cole has over 20 years of experience representing clients in complex transactions. Prior to joining Melody, Mr. Cole served as General Counsel and Secretary of Merisant Company. Prior to joining Merisant, Mr. Cole worked in private practice at Akin Gump, representing clients in debt and equity financings, M&A transactions, and reorganization. Mr. Cole holds a BA with honors from the University of Chicago and a JD and MA from New York University.

Josh Oboler is a Senior Vice President at Melody with an industry focus on TMT. Mr. Oboler has over 10 years of experience in private credit and investment banking. Prior to joining Melody, Mr. Oboler was at UBS Investment Bank’s TMT group, focusing on M&A advisory, debt capital markets, and equity capital markets transactions with both U.S. and international clients. Mr. Oboler worked on a range of transactions including spectrum financing, wireless, wireline, cable, traditional and new media, firm financing, music, and internet companies. Mr. Oboler began his career working for Rabobank International in New York and Amsterdam, focusing on credit risk management, structured finance, leveraged finance, and M&A advisory. Mr. Oboler currently serves on the Board of Directors of UJA-Federation of New York. Mr. Oboler holds a BA in Economics with a minor in Business from Brandeis University.

Blake Yaralian is a Senior Vice President at Melody.  Mr. Yaralian has over 13 years of experience in structured finance and credit investing with an industry focus in Energy, Commodities, and Infrastructure. Prior to joining Melody, Mr. Yaralian was at UBS Investment Bank, most recently serving as a Director in the Special Situations Group where he focused on energy transactions in addition to metals and mining, telecom, real estate, and infrastructure. Mr. Yaralian’s role included sourcing, structuring, and executing credit-driven investment opportunities. Mr. Yaralian was responsible for leading and managing all aspects of a transaction from inception to closure. Prior to working in the Special Situations Group, Mr. Yaralian solely managed a $500+ million commodity structured product portfolio as part of UBS’s exit from the commodity business. Key responsibilities included hedging, unwinding, and restructuring UBS’s structured commodity positions, and reporting to the head of fixed income following the bank’s departure from the commodity sector. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Yaralian worked in WestLB’s Energy Investment Banking and Project Finance Group. Mr. Yaralian holds a BBA with a double major in Finance and Marketing Information Systems from James Madison University.

Terri Lecamp is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer at Melody. Ms. Lecamp has over 25 years of experience in investment banking and asset management. Prior to joining Melody, Ms. Lecamp was a Founding Partner and COO of Plainfield Asset Management, which launched in 2005 with $150 million and grew to $5.4 billion in 2008 before experiencing significant redemptions during the financial crisis. Ms. Lecamp was responsible for 100+ professionals in the areas of accounting, tax, treasury, legal, compliance, IT, IR, HR, portfolio monitoring, valuation, and trading operations. Prior to joining Plainfield, Ms. Lecamp ran TLC Partners, a strategy and financial advisory firm she founded in 2001. Prior to founding TLC Partners, Ms. Lecamp served as Staff Vice President of Corporate Development at ADP where she led M&A for the largest business unit and made several strategic acquisitions. Prior to joining ADP, Ms. Lecamp worked at Salomon Brothers Investment Banking division focused on financial restructuring, M&A and debt/equity financings. Ms. Lecamp holds BA in Business from University of Washington and an MBA. from Columbia University.

Celine Hannett is the Chief Financial Officer of Melody’s Funds. Ms. Hannett has over 25 years experience in strategy, capital markets, business analysis, and finance at large public and private corporations. Prior to joining Melody, Ms. Hannett was Advisor to the COO at Starwood Capital Group where she performed fund and portfolio company control environment assessments and established policies and processes to ensure efficient and controlled financial operations. Prior to joining Starwood, Ms. Hannett was at Plainfield Asset Management, where she was Managing Director, CFO and Treasurer. Her responsibilities included liquidity management, accounting, financial reporting and audits, as well as coordinating with heads of trading, risk, and deal teams on investment funding and interpreting complex legal agreements for an investment portfolio of over $1 billion. Prior to joining Plainfield, Ms. Hannett was a Senior Executive Director and Treasurer for Purdue Pharma L.P. where she was responsible for financing activities, cash management, asset sales, risk management, credit & collections, and financial direction to new businesses. Prior to this, Ms. Hannett held various operating and finance positions at ADP, PepsiCo, Inc., and United Technologies Corporation. Ms. Hannett holds a BS from Ateneo de Manila University and an MBA from University of Chicago.

Neil Collins is a Managing Director and Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at Melody. Mr. Collins has over 30 years of experience in the alternative investment industry across hedge funds, private equity, private credit and real asset strategies working with institutional and private investors as it relates to implementing their asset allocation objectives. Prior to joining Melody, he was a Managing Director and Strategic Value Partners, managing client relationships and raising capital for their distressed debt funds. From 2014 to 2015 he worked at The Carlyle Group in New York where he was Managing Director and Global Head of Marketing for Carlyle Investment Solutions. From 2010 to 2014, Mr. Collins was head of sales for the Fund of Hedge Funds group at UBS in Stamford. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at Quellos Group/BlackRock Alternative Advisors leading the Seattle based marketing team. His earlier career was at Banque Paribas and the Swiss Bank Corporation/O’Connor & Associates as a derivatives trader in New York and London. Mr. Collins helped establish Ashesi University, a liberal arts college in Ghana, Africa founded in 2002. He continues to serve on the board, as well as the investment and audit committees, and served as Treasurer for their first decade. Mr. Collins holds a BA cum laude from Claremont McKenna College in Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

John Apostolides is a Managing Director with an industry focus on TMT. Mr. Apostolides has 15 years of experience as an investment / merchant banker and investor and has advised on announced M&A transactions with an aggregate value of over $100 billion and helped raise over $30 billion in the equity, fixed income and convertible securities markets. Prior to joining Melody, Mr. Apostolides was a Managing Director at Macquarie Capital where he led many of the team’s advisory, investing and capital-raising efforts in the satellite, communications infrastructure, cable, wireless, enterprise communications and Internet of Things sectors. Before joining Macquarie, Mr. Apostolides was a Vice President of Evercore's Corporate Advisory business focusing on advising companies in the Media and Telecom sectors. Mr. Apostolides started his career at Citigroup where he spent nearly seven years in the financial technology and TMT investment banking groups in New York and London. He has been a panelist and speaker at key industry events including the annual World Satellite Business Week (Paris) and Washington D.C. satellite conferences. Mr. Apostolides holds a BA cum laude in Economics and minor in Music from Dartmouth College.
